I'm a Senior Lecturer (universitetslektor & docent) at the Department of Mathematics (MAI), Linköping University, Sweden.
I work in an area of mathematics called integrable systems; here's a brief summary of my research. Very roughly speaking, an integrable system is a system of differential equations that can be solved exactly with analytical methods.
Here's a selection of a few interesting things that I've come across in my research. Follow the links for explanations, movies of peakons, etc.
I enjoy teaching, and I have plenty of teaching experience from many of the subjects offered by our department at the undergraduate level (calculus in one or several variables, linear algebra, vector calculus, complex analysis, Fourier analysis, ordinary and partial differential equations, discrete mathematics, mathematical biology, applied mathematics, etc.).
